JD Vance demands that the EU remove its censorship laws against Big Tech and allow AI to dominate

The newly appointed Vice President of the United States under the Trump administration, JD Vance, demanded at yesterday’s AI conference in Paris that the EU take action on its censorship laws, such as the DSA, which are said to hinder Big Tech companies from developing AI’s dominance in the narrative market and undermining the free speech on the Internet for ordinary people.

It was during a speech yesterday at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris, France, which gathered heads of state and world leaders from various countries, that Vance demanded that countries wishing to cooperate with the U.S. on various economic and geopolitical issues, ensure they embrace AI’s dominance and development as something positive and desirable, in terms of “openness” and “collaboration.” An area that Vance believes the U.S. should aim to become a world leader in.

Vance also argued that countries and regimes around the world must stop regulating AI with increased censorship and control, and instead “promote” its development. In particular, Vance directed his criticism at the EU and its Digital Services Act (DSA), which he believes creates problems and obstacles for major tech companies in developing AI. He stated that its censorship, forces Big Tech to remove content through “policing what is so-called misinformation.”

The new Trump administration has strong ties to the “tech oligarchs” and billionaires in Silicon Valley, particularly to Elon Musk, who is said to have gained significant lobbying influence over the American president, but also to powerful figures such as Peter Thiel, who is also a member of the globalistic power organization, the Bilderberg Group, and has strong connections to JD Vance, dating back to 2011 when Thiel started funding Vance’s political career.
